The purpose of this trip is to visit great canyon and indian tribute at the border of Arizona and Utah, where many famous moive, including "wind talker" (Nicolase cage) and "Forrest gump", were shot there. The inidan people at the tribute are the "code talker" who contributed to the victory of War II to win the battle between American Navy and Japanese Navy. They were awarded by president Regean for their amazing achievement by using their language which is only known by inidan people. "Forrest gump" is the movie encouraging a lot of Chinese students to chase their America dream. Even after so many year, the scene is still so clear in my mind. Especially at the end of the movie, when Forrest(Tom hanks) stopped running at a place (shot at the Monument valley) and said:"I am tired, I want to go home". That encouraged me to drive almost 800 miles from San Diego to the border of Arizona and Utah to see this amazing view of Monument Valley.
